A Loyal Customer Turns to NAI When Faced with Tight Dimensional Constraints
July 2006
LeTourneau has purchased multiple cranes from North American Industries (NAI) over the last year. Tight dimensional constraints did not stop NAI from providing the appropriate cranes for their loyal customer.
LeTourneau is a company that manufactures steel, mining equipment, and offshore drilling platforms among other products.LeTourneau’s Marine Group, located in Vicksburg Mississippi, required magnet handling cranes to lift 40 ton steel scabs. After analyzing their requirements and dimensional restrictions, NAI designed and built 25 ton double girder bridge cranes each with a 52 foot span. To further satisfy LeTourneau’s individual needs, NAI outfitted the cranes with new magnet controls for the customer’s existing magnets.
The relationship between NAI and LeTourneau is just one example of the close partnerships that NAI enjoys with its customers. NAI receives more than 50% of its business from repeat customers.
