North American Industries Selected by Steel Mill as Both Companies Celebrate 40 th Year Anniversaries

July 2009

WOBURN, Massachusetts – It is fitting that steel mill operator W. Silver, Inc. chose North American Industries (NAI) to deliver several overhead crane systems, as both companies are celebrating their 40 th years in business. W. Silver, a steel re-rolling mill located in Vinton, Texas, required a 20 ton bridge crane for its mill room and another two 10 ton bridge cranes for its machine and motor rooms. NAI is working with several engineers at W. Silver and the building contractor to design, build, and install these three cranes along with three runway systems. All cranes and runways are expected to be installed before the end of 2009.

W. Silver, Inc. is a steel re-rolling mill specializing in the manufacture of high quality steel products. Its product line includes studded steel T-posts for the farm, ranch and vineyard industries; angle steel for the bed frame manufacturing industry; and rebar for paving applications.
