Crane components consist of all major subassemblies of the crane system except for the girder and, in the case of gantry cranes, the gantry legs. They can include the end trucks, hoist and trolley (all fully assembled), controls and control panels, bridge electrics, runway electrics and other options, such as lights, ladders and catwalks.
When Are Crane Components the Right Solution for You?
Crane components may be a preferable solution for you if:
You are working within a very tight capital budget and are having difficulty getting your project approved with a complete crane system
Your geographic location makes the transportation of girders too expensive
You have significant steel fabrication and/or heavy machinery installation capabilities and possesses the equipment required to cut, burn, drill and paint steel. NAI can provide girder fabrication drawings, installation instructions and telephonic technical support, and you must be able to understand detailed engineering drawings and possess welding, fabrication and heavy overhead assembly capabilities
Why Choose NAI Crane Components?
We custom design crane components just as we custom design complete crane systems, taking into account the particular application, environment, and budget, which means you still get all of the features you need at a competitive price, and you still don’t pay for any features you don’t need
Our components are the same heavy-duty Class D design used on our complete crane systems; the difference is that you supply the girder and connection steel and then assemble and install the entire crane system
Our standard component warranty is also two years, still twice as long as the typical warranty in the industry
We accommodate special requirements with components too, such as extra small hook approaches, designing to a unique existing runway or track system, or sourcing and applying non-standard surface finishes to withstand unusual environmental conditions
